The course was in surprisingly good shape for early in the season and was a pleasure to play. Unfortunately, the greens were a bit flat and the tee boxes were not all that manicured (especially the one at the twelfth). This was also the case for the longest drive of all time on the infamous one-club-length “Young’s Revenge” hole. The most important thing to remember about King’s Mountain is that it’s a true country club with a limited membership base and no driving range, so you should expect to pay a premium for the privilege of playing its excellent course.
