Haute couture fashion week has begun. From intricately crafted dresses to elegant, avant-garde separates in the wildest of fabrications, expect to see theatrical endeavors both on and off the catwalk. Day one saw Emma Watson taking streetwear over to haute couture.
Actor Eddie Redmayne attended the Schiaparelli autumn/winter 2022 couture show to see the label’s spring/summer 2022 collection. He was wearing an outfit that mixed luxury and streetwear styles. The standout item was a black blazer with power shoulders and monumental lapels from this season’s opening look. To complement the dramatic piece, Redmayne wore crisp white collared shirt, grey skinny jeans, and a chunky pair of black leather Dr Martens Chelsea boots.
By pairing her whimsical Schiaparelli with everyday staples, Emma made her couture look as wearable as it was attention-grabbing.
